I’ve noticed a few menus are wrong here and there, which is kind of surprising?! Most of the time they’re still close enough that I can figure out what to order, but it’d be nice if they were a bit more accurate

I had to verify my login one time, which annoyed me more than it probably should have. I get that it’s for security, but they could make the process less irritating. That said, I haven’t seen any weird charges or account problems so far, so I guess it’s doing its job.

The app kept saying the driver was nearby, but my food didn’t actually show up until about 40 minutes later. By then it was cold, so I had to deal with reheating everything myself, which was annoying after already waiting that long...

"Pretty decent if you order a lot"
I signed up for the Skip membership thinking it would help cut down on delivery fees, and to be fair, it pretty much does when I’m ordering regularly. If you only use it once in a while though, the monthly fee can kind of cancel out whatever you’re saving.
I also noticed some places still have extra fees or prices that seem a bit higher, so it’s not always as cheap as it first looks. Overall it’s okay, just not something I’d call amazing...

I use Skip often and the rewards have been a nice little bonus because I’m ordering anyway and then after a while you notice the savings adding up without really having to do anything extra, which is great

I tried it and thought it tasted good enough. Nothing that completely blew me away, but it was enjoyable and I’d be fine having it again. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid choice if you’re not expecting anything too fancy.

"Gift card was a pain to use"
I got a skipthedishes gift card and figured it would be straightforward to add to my account. Silly me, I guess, because the redemption process was way more annoying than it had any reason to be.
The code kept throwing errors at first, and after a few tries it finally decided to work, like it was doing me some huge favor. I contacted support too, but they were painfully slow and just kept repeating the most basic little instructions I had obviously already tried.
The actual food delivery was fine, so no complaints there. But using the gift card felt like dealing with a clunky, half-baked system, and I definitely don’t think I’d buy one for someone else.

I tried a couple of SkipTheDishes promo codes at checkout and they applied without any hassle. No random errors or last-minute surprises, which was nice. Ended up saving a bit on dinner, so I was happy with it.

"Pretty average delivery"
The food showed up on time, so no complaints there. The driver barely said anything though and seemed kind of annoyed when I asked if it was the right order?? Not exactly rude, but not friendly either. I’ve definitely had better drivers, but I’ve also had worse. Overall, just a average experience

I use SkipTheDishes every now and then, and I do like that the fees are usually shown before you pay. Sometimes the delivery fee plus the service fee feels like a bit much, but at least they’re not sneaking it in at the very end. Overall, I’d say it’s fair

My order wasn’t right when it arrived, which was a bit frustrating. I had to wait a little bit for support, but they did end up giving me credit for the mistake. Not a perfect experience, but they handled it decently, if that makes sense.

I did eventually get my refund, but it took much longer than it should have. I had to keep waiting without much clarity, which was frustrating. i feel like an apology would’ve been appropriate after making me wait that long.

Overall, it’s decent and does the job most of the time. That said, I’ve started noticing a pattern where it works fine for a while and then randomly becomes unreliable when I actually need it to be steady. Not a dealbreaker for me, but it’s definitely something I keep an eye on now

"Food arrives, eventually"
I’ll give them credit, the food does usually make it to my door, which is apparently the big achievement here. The tracking updates are kind of a mess though. One minute it says the driver is nearby, then suddenly there’s radio silence for 20 minutes. Trying to get in touch with someone isn’t exactly easy either. I just wish the notifications were a little more accurate so I wasn’t left guessing the whole time.

I did get into my account eventually, but the verification process took way longer than it should have. The site kept making it sound like everything was “quick and secure,” which just made me more annoyed. Felt less like a smooth safety step and more like a hassle I had to wait out.

I waited almost two hours for the food, and when it finally got here, it was cold already. Not really what I was hoping for, honestly. It was kind of disappointing because by then I was super hungry and the whole thing just felt not great.

"Support took way too long"
Had an order show up with a meal missing, so tried reaching out to support right away. Took forever to get a response, and when someone finally replied, felt like they hadn’t really read what I sent. Had to explain everything again and wait even longer. Got a small credit in the end, but the whole thing was frustrating. Food mistakes happen, but support really needs to be quicker than that

"Drivers are usually around when I need them"
I use SkipTheDishes often, most of the time there’s a driver nearby when I place an order. Even on weekends, which I kind of expect to be busier, it usually gets picked up without me sitting there wondering if anyone’s coming...
Every now and then it does take a bit longer, usually late at night or when it’s just one of those times, but it hasn’t been a big issue for me. Overall it’s been reliable, so I keep using it.

"Payment randomly keeps failing"
I tried placing an order and the payment kept failing for no clear reason, which was already annoying enough. Then my card ended up getting charged twice, but the order still didn’t go through. Not exactly what you want to deal with when you’re just trying to buy something.
