I got sent horrible food that my son s plate was poorly packaged (crepe au chocolat with banana) no banana chocolate all over the place but on the crepe sent pictures and skip offers me 9$ off. The potatoes were in chocolate, chocolate on the egg that was rubber couldn’t even give it to my dog. I mean being told it’s the best they can do because of covid (2023 covid measures are over) it’s ridiculous. With all other platforms available skip the skip.

"Scammers"
Scammers! They sent out a fake $5 credit promotion that they claim has expired around 1 pm, although the email mentions it's valid for 5 days, and last time I checked, the day ends at midnight, not earlier in the afternoon. I deleted the app and I am never using it again. Their competitors are doing much better and that's where I'll be placing my orders.

"After ordering from Skip multiple times…"
After ordering from Skip multiple times and recently as yesterday I open the app and attempt to order myself some dinner at work. The same building I ordered from YESTERDAY. With the same credit card as yesterday. “Payment failed” comes up, I try again and same thing. Several attempts later after updating my phone, logging out of the app and back in, deleting my credit info and adding it back in and same thing. Payment failed. Tried the chat option and got absolutely no help other than it had to be on my end because they couldn’t see any issue on theirs. No order was showing up. Well no kidding because your app keeps telling me my payment failed for zero reason. Even checked my bank accounts thinking something was up, nope. No help, crappy app, crappy customer support. Sadly only option on a smaller city. Deleted the account and app entirely.

My husband and I recently ordered subway from skip. My husband, being a smoker, was waiting outside for our order. He got the notification that food was delivered. When he contacted support AFTER CHECKING ALL AROUND OUR BULDING AND ASKING NEIGHBORS for our food. They said sorry the driver "PrOvIdEd PrOoF oF OrDeR DeLiVeRy". Husband asked what was proof they said they couldn't provide the proof. He had to go to work without his food! Absolutely ludicrous. I would like to add the date is an estimate.

"Skip Doesn't Deliver"
Over the last year I have started growing less and less fond of using Skip. I have had 3 full orders never make it to my house and as of today, 2 orders missing items and having cold food. Today, I asked for a refund for the juice I never received and I was not only denied the refund, but I was told that I will never be allowed a refund in the future. I will officially never use them or support them again.

"Never use Skip the dishes"
I ordered a meal from Mary Brown’s chicken. They used Skip the dishes for their delivery. When I received my delivery I found that I was given a single Chinese meal instead of chicken. I contacted Mary Brown’s and they informed me that the driver had picked up the order. They then instructed me to call Skip the dishes which I did. I was told by STD that because I had used MB’s app they were not responsible. Well, I asked who employs the driver, MB or STD? I wasn’t given a reply to that instead, “NOT THEIR PROBLEM”!! Perhaps they need to rename to “Skip the dishes AND THE FOOD”.
First and last time I will EVER use them!!! Either get delivery directly from the place you order or pick up yourself because you’re not going to ever see your food or your money.

"Forget about Skip"
Forget about Skip, it is cheaper and less stressful to pay a cab to grab ur food. I waited more than an hour for a delivery that was supposedly only 27 minutes then was told it would be delivered shortly ,then was told that it was delivered, but a car never came up my driveway . I am so fed up with this company and their lying couriers. Customer service also sucks !! SKIP TO THE LOO , SKIP THE DISHES

"worst management ever"
no help from customer support for restaurants. All they say please email us or submit report on portal. and if customer calls them they give them refund just like that. without even confirming with restaurant. want to give -1 but unfortunately i can't .

"Cold food LONG delivery tomes"
Tired of paying them to deliver my food when they make other stops along the way. I get cold food that has taken forever to get here. Three times and I'm out....other similar services actually understand good customer service, I'll stick with them.

"They have been fairly good when it…"
They have been fairly good when it comes to refunding and addressing my problems. Except for now. I ordered from a restaurant no farther than a 3 minute drive. I placed the order at 11:30am ish, and I didn't get the order until a couple minutes before 12pm. It was cold and the bread was soggy, & definitely looked like it hadn't been toasted. I have previously ordered from this restaurant and have never had these problems. With the restaurant being so close, I have also personally grabbed food there and have never had this problem. I wasn't eligible for any kind of refund seeing as the food was "picked up and delivered within the expected time frame". It was ICE COLD AND SOGGY. That DID NOT HAPPEN in the 3 minutes it took to get here ! The expected temperature change should NOT be that drastic. From what I've gotten from my less than handful of experiences, they only correct the situation if you're missing items or if the situation is a direct result of one of their drivers.

The amount of times SkipTheDishes has stolen my money.

I've been using SkipTheDishes for a while now. Maybe even since they began running. It wasn't bad 5+ years ago but it went downhill in a big way. If you continuously use STD, eventually you'll forget that it's normal for orders to come within the hour mark because through skip, your orders will come an hour, or two hours later. I've actually waited 2.5 - 3 hours ONCE before but usually it's the 1.5 - 2 hour mark.
The couriers don't always deliver the orders or they claim that they have but nothing is ever there.
Your food can come cold, stale, drinks spilt and they won't refund you or even compensate you with their "$5 credit" which would be a good show of faith to their customers because at least they would be acknowledging the problem and insinuating that they wish that they could fix it". But not even that.
No refunds after it all either.

I literally feel like I'm being robbed by a business/corporation

Use our service to order food: you may not get the food though but we're going to keep your money either way

"There is always an issue with skip the…"
There is always an issue with skip the dishes. Orders are always extremely late or there are issues with the couriers, and they never notify you nor keep you in the loop. I’ve had at least 3 bad experiences in a short amount of time, in which now I can say I am completely done and will no longer be using skip the dishes.

"Ordered food"
Ordered food, didnt show. Driver lied stated they were waiting....no one showed. Service claimed wrong address also we provided proof of correct address. They offered only %50 refund but did not provide that either. Skip the dishes scammed us and driver tool off with 4 free meals.
